Kayaking and canoeing will be celebrated in the province today when PaddleFest gets underway at FortWhyte Alive.
In conjunction with Canadian Rivers Day, outdoor enthusiasts will be introduced to stand up paddleboarding.
An auction will also be available, where paddlers can win prizes for trying out their paddling skills.
Paddle Canada will run demonstration clinics during this one-day family event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
