The Winnipeg Jazz Festival’s free opening weekend was a definite crowd pleaser in Old Market Square beginning last Thursday.
The four-day concert series gave festival-goers a taste of what to expect the rest of the week, as the Jazz Festival moves into other venues across the city.
Tonight, Ollabelle with Son of Dave perform at the West End Cultural Centre at 8 p.m., while the Manitoba High School Big Band with Jeff and Jen Allen play the Winnipeg Art Gallery at 7:30 p.m.
A roster of other talent is slated for the King’s Head Pub, Pyramid Cabaret and other locations. To see a complete list, visit JazzWinnipeg.com.
