Leaders for all three main provincial political parties will face each other for the second time this week tonight in a live televised debate.
NDP leader Greg Selinger, Progressive Conservative leader Hugh McFadyen and Liberal leader Jon Gerrard will take part in the Winnipeg Realtors and Manitoba Real Estate Association Leaders Debate at 7:30 p.m.
The debate at the Franco-Manitoban Culture Centre will be televised on Shaw TV.
On Monday, the three leaders traded jabs in Brandon in what many have dubbed the “debate of dishonesty.”
The leaders will be fielding tough questions from the Winnipeg Free Press’ Mary Agnes Welch, Global TV’s Peter Chura, Shaw TV’s Kim Babij and CJOB’s Richard Cloutier.
Today on the campaign trail, the NDP has scheduled a family doctor access announcement, while the Liberals plan to make a major announcement regarding rapid transit in Winnipeg. The PCs will spend the majority of the day door-knocking in St. Vital and Assiniboia with candidates Mike Brown and Susan Auch, respectively.
Voters go to the polls October 4.
