CTV Winnipeg will launch its new morning show one week from today on Monday, September 26.
“CTV Morning Live,” anchored by Eleanor Coopsammy and Kris Laudien, will run weekdays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Weather and traffic specialist Terri Apostle and web reporter Kristin Hursh will also be part of the morning lineup.
Rachel Lagacé will be on-location throughout the city covering the latest news, while Jesse Carlson will contribute to the show by providing live traffic reports from the field.
“The combination of breaking news, weather and traffic will accommodate the busy lives of our viewers, and with our strong social media presence, we hope to incorporate our viewers into the daily on-air dialogue,” news director Karen Mitchell said in a release.
“CTV Morning Live” has been launching in several other markets in recent weeks.
“Canada AM” will move to its new home on CTV News Channel.
