Humane Society’s ‘Santa Paws’ Snapping Pics with Pets

By David Klassen

Say cheese, Fido. It’s time for holiday pet pics at the Winnipeg Humane Society.

On Sunday, pet owners can bring their cats and dogs, or any other species they love, to the WHS at 45 Hurst Way.

Winnipeg Free Press humour columnist Doug Speirs will be playing the role of Santa Paws this year.

Photos will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Hanukkah pet photos will be available from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

An appointment is required by visiting WinnipegHumaneSociety.ca or AdamYork.ca. Photos are $12 for a 5″ x 7″ or $25 for three 5″ x 7″ prints.

Proceeds will go to support the more than 9,000 animals the Humane Society cares for every year.
