New Year’s Eve revellers will have a safe ride home next week thanks to free rides from Winnipeg Transit.
The city and Manitoba Public Insurance have partnered again to offer the Ride Free, Ride Safe program. Beginning at 9 p.m., regular and Handi-Transit service will be free, with the last bus leaving downtown at 1:38 a.m. FYI, most bars close at 2 a.m., so there’s always Operation Red Nose.
