Vita Health Products has voluntarily recalled one of their muscle and back pain medication products over a French language labelling error.

The recall of Compliments Muscle and Back Pain Relief Regular Strength 18 count tablets stems from a labelling design error, where the French labelling states that the product is intended for “Adults and Children 2 years and older.” The English directions also listed on the package correctly state the product is intended for “Adults and Children 12 years and older.” Further directions on the side panels given in both French and English indicate that the product is “Not to be used in children under 12 years.”

There have so far been no adverse events because of the error, and Health Canada has been notified.

Affected products including the following LOT numbers:

0K078B27Z1
0K078B29VL
1A100B2AQH
1H106B2GVP
1H106B2HJJ
