Members of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will be out and about in the community this weekend, making the rounds to interact with fans.
Offensive linemen Chris Kowalczuk and Chris Greaves will be in Portage la Prairie tonight participating in the Portage la Prairie Chamber Curl-A-Thon.
On Saturday, quarterback Buck Pierce and offensive lineman Obby Khan will be in Selkirk for spring/summer sport registration at the Selkirk Rec Centre between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Offensive lineman Steve Morley and long snapper Chris Cvetkovic will be in Winnipeg to lend a hand at Football Manitoba’s Development Camp, while Khan will then be in Winkler later Saturday night as the keynote speaker for a Hockey Manitoba Banquet.
To end the weekend, Pierce and Kowalczuk will be making an appearance at the 1001 Donations Telethon for the Winnipeg Humane Society on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
