Canadian songstress k.d. lang will perform in Winnipeg this summer.
The Grammy and Juno Award-winning singer-songwriter will play the Pantages Playhouse Theatre on Friday, September 14 with her new band the Siss Boom Bang.
“I love going where I’m not supposed to go,” lang said in a release, talking about her new band. “I love being the underdog, I’ve always loved being the underdog. I love feeling like I’m starting at square zero again. I thrive on it.”
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 11 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Prices are $59.50, $75 and $89.50.
