Customs officers at Winnipeg’s James Richardson International Airport seized 300 grams of marijuana on July 27.

The seizure was made in the air cargo facility and was intercepted in a shipment from Italy, destined to an address in Melfort, Saskatchewan.

The Canadian Border Services Agency says the drugs were concealed inside a smaller box within the shipment.

A Melfort man has been arrested and is facing drug-related charges.

The suspected marijuana is in the possession of the RCMP, who are continuing to investigate.
