Nuit BlancheSubmissions are now being accepted from artists for inclusion in the Illuminate the Night exhibit at the fourth annual Nuit Blanche Winnipeg this fall.

Organizers are encouraging the use of illumination, light, projections, and interactivity from performance artists, installation artists, textile artists, curators, art historians, architects, photographers, filmmakers and general creative thinkers.

Nuit Blanche Winnipeg will be held Saturday, September 28 across St. Boniface, downtown (WAG/ Plug In ICA) and the Exchange District. The annual event is a free all-night exploration and celebration of contemporary art.

Submissions are being accepted from any artist or group of artists from Canada through NuitBlancheWinnipeg.ca. A minimum of five projects, by juried selection, will be chosen to showcase their projects at Nuit Blanche Winnipeg 2013. The finalists will be provided a $300 artist honorarium. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, August 8, 2013 at midnight CT.
