The Manitoba Bison women’s hockey team has clinched a Top 4 spot in the Canada West standings to host a playoff series.
The Bisons (15-7-4) will host an opponent yet to be determined February 14-15, with a possible third game on February 16.
The spots of third to sixth are still up for grabs as the Herd has an outside chance to catch third place Saskatchewan (38 points). Fifth place Regina (26 points), sixth Calgary (22 points) and seventh Lethbridge (19 points) battle for the last two playoff spots.
Heading into the playoffs, the Bisons will complete the regular season by hosting the seventh place Lethbridge Pronghorns on February 7-8 with game time at 7 p.m. CT on Friday and 6 p.m. CT on Saturday (Wayne Fleming Arena).
Ticket prices for Bison quarter final action are $12 for adults, $7 for students and seniors, and children under six are free.
