Minimum wage in Manitoba is on the rise again.
The province will increase the wage to $10.70 an hour on October 1 — a jump of 25 cents.
“This most recent increase builds on our long-term plan to provide the lowest wage earners increased purchasing power so they can better provide for themselves and their families,” said Labour and Immigration Minister Erna Braun.
The new wage puts Manitoba as the fourth-highest among other Canadian jurisdictions.
