If you find yourself in Winnipeg Square on Monday, why not take some time to help out the Winnipeg Humane Society?
A day-long fundraiser will see 360 Hair & Nails provide haircutting and manicure services in support of the more than 8,000 animals the WHS takes in annually.
From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., haircuts and nail art will be offered for a donation to the organization. Donors can also enter to win a number of prizes, including a trip for two to Las Vegas, smart TVs, signed Winnipeg Jets gear and other items.
Haircuts will be $20, while manicure polishes and nail art will run you $10. Twenty raffle tickets are being sold for $20.
Mascots from the Winnipeg police K-9 unit, as well as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, will make appearances between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
