All Winnipeggers like a deal, and this one will let you see some of the city’s best cultural hot spots.
The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, along with several partners, have teamed up to sell what they’re calling the Winnipeg Culture Pass. For $89, buyers can take themselves and a partner to a play, opera, ballet or orchestra night, and get admission to a local museum to boot.
“Purchasing city passes in places like New York, Florence and Chicago has helped me to take full advantage of business or leisure travel in these great cities, but I was always surprised that the performing arts were not included in those wonderful tourism packages,” said Trudy Schroeder, WSO executive director.
The booklet will include two regular admission tickets to one of either the WSO, Royall Winnipeg Ballet, Manitoba Opera or Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre and two regular admission tickets to either the Manitoba Museum, Winnipeg Art Gallery or Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
Passes can be bought at winnipegculturepass.ca.
