One day after showing veteran broadcaster Kathy Kennedy the door at 680 CJOB, Corus Entertainment has announced changes over at sister station Power 97.
“We’re continuing to build on the deep rock ‘n’ roll heritage in the community with Winnipeg favourites, Joe Aiello and the return of Fearless Fred Kennedy,” said Tammy Cole, program director at Power 97. “By having Winnipeg’s renowned hosts paired with some brand new voices, Power 97 will offer an exciting line-up that listeners can connect with.”
Winnipeg rock jock Joe Aiello stays on as Power Mornings host, and adds new-comer Randy Parker. The duo will be on air Monday – Friday from 6-10 a.m.
Meredith Geddes brings her Vancouver show to the midday slot from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Craig Stone also joins the crew from Vancouver with a show from 2-6 p.m., and Fearless Fred Kennedy returns to Power to round out the evenings from 6-10 p.m.
