NHL Heritage Classic 2016WINNIPEG — Part of the weekend’s festivities at the upcoming 2016 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic will include a packed entertainment lineup.

The NHL has announced The Strumbellas, Sum 41, Brett Kissel and Doc Walker will all perform at the outdoor game October 23 between the Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers at Investors Group Field.

Canadian music icon Tom Cochrane will warm up the crowd at the NHL Heritage Classic Alumni Game on Saturday, October 22.

Original Jets anthem singer Jennifer Hanson will perform prior to the Alumni Game followed by a flyover by two Royal Canadian Air Force CT 156 Harvard II aircraft.

Sum 41 will give a pre-game performance in the Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic Spectator Plaza on Sunday in the “U” parking lot on the University of Manitoba campus.

Kissel will then lead the anthem ceremony with a performance of “O Canada” accompanied by Doc Walker. Two Royal Canadian Air Force F18s and a Snowbirds Demonstration team will lead the flyover. The Strumbellas will perform during the first intermission of the Jets-Oilers regular-season outdoor game. The second intermission will feature a special tribute to Winnipeg Jets hockey.
