October 19, 2016 11:16 AM | Sports

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will tackle cancer during their annual pink game at Investors Group Field on October 29.

The team has donated 100 tickets to breast cancer survivors and their families through the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Survivors will be honoured on the field before kickoff against the Ottawa Redblacks.

Those who purchase tickets using the promo code PINK will have a portion of their sale going to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

“This is a very important cause for our organization,” said president and CEO Wade Miller. “Many of our players, staff, and fans have been touched by breast cancer.”

Blue Bombers toques with a pink accent will be for sale on the concourse, with proceeds going to the Foundation.

Game time is 3 p.m.
