RCMP Make Arrest in Morris Break and Enters

RCMP Logo VehicleRCMP in Morris, Manitoba have charged a woman after she was found walking down a back lane carrying several stolen items.

Officers came across the woman January 14 and questioned her about the items but released her without arrest. The woman provided officer’s a false name before she was let go.

When police followed up on the information she had provided, they found the property in her possession was stolen and they were able to confirm her real identity.

A search warrant executed at a home on McMillan Street in Morris led to evidence in several unsolved break and enters in the area.

Jolene O’Bara, 42, faces numerous charges, including identity theft and obstructing justice.

She remains in custody and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
