The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ is moving its popular farmers’ market outside for the summer.

Previously housed in Cityplace, the market will now be located on the south side of the Manitoba Hydro building on Graham Avenue, as well as on Edmonton Street between Graham Avenue and Portage Avenue.

“I challenge people who are working downtown to come and have a look. I guarantee they won’t be disappointed,” said Downtown Winnipeg BIZ CEO Stefano Grande.

“The locally grown produce and homemade products are great and well worth a trip downtown on Thursdays.”

The Downtown Winnipeg Farmers’ Market is open every Thursday starting on June 7 and runs through to the end of September from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Following the summer outdoor run, the market returns to Cityplace, bi-weekly through the fall, winter and spring.
