WINNIPEG — North Kildonan Councillor Jeff Browaty is the latest incumbent to seek re-election in the city’s municipal election this fall.

Browaty registered Tuesday and says he hopes to have the opportunity to serve his constituents for another term.

“I am proud of the projects I have been involved in for the area and I am motivated by the success I’ve had on driving the debate on city-wide issues,” Browaty said in a statement.

Browaty has been in office throughout major projects in his ward, such as the Chief Peguis Trail Extension, the reconstruction of the Disraeli Bridge and Overpass, and the expansion of the Henderson Library.

Browaty was first elected to council in 2006.

Winnipeg voters head to the polls October 24.
