Winnipeg Harvest received a hefty donation Wednesday as part of its Joy of Giving holiday campaign.

Sobeys Inc. donated $122,787.12 to the Winnipeg food bank on behalf of Sobeys, Safeway and IGA stores.

“We really wouldn’t have been able to achieve this without their continued commitment and consistency at the registers, selling hampers and taking donations throughout the holidays, thank you to those who worked so hard for us, and to everyone who showed their support,” said Keren Taylor-Hughes, CEO of Winnipeg Harvest.
