Juno winning band Walk Off the Earth is coming to Winnipeg in October.

The multi-platinum Canadian indie, five-member, pop group was formed in 2006. Walk Off the Earth is known for their YouTube videos, often posting covers utilizing a Ukulele. In 2012, the Burlington, Ontario group posted a video of the entire group playing a one person guitar and singing Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know.” The video received over 180 million views – plus a nod from Gotye.

Walk Off the Earth’s repertoire includes, Red Hands, Fire In My Soul, and Rule The World – which struck multi-platinum status in Canada.

In late 2018, Walk Off the Earth lost band member, Mike “Beard Guy” Taylor. After Taylor’s death, and “with much difficult consideration” Walk Off the Earth’s surviving members – Gianni, Joel, Marshall, and Sarah – continued in an effort to honour Mike’s legacy.

Walk Off the Earth will play the Centennial Concert Hall on October 30th.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on June 14 though Live Nation. Prices range from $39.75 to 69.75 plus fees.
