The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are bringing back the hugely successful Family Day for a second year on Saturday, October 12.
Prior to the Blue and Gold facing off against the Montreal Alouettes, the pre-game festivities will be just as exciting as the kickoff.
The football club is throwing a number of kid-themed game day activities beginning at 1 p.m. Kids can hone their athleticism on the 80-foot “American Ninja Warrior” course, hosted by the Family Channel. Those who compete will be entered to win a trip to the Grey Cup.
The tailgate area will also have Marvel comic characters, Paw Patrol and many other highlights. The first 5,000 kids under 12 through the gates will receive a free lunch bag.
Gates to IG Field open at 2 p.m. and kickoff is at 3 p.m.
Tickets to the Family Day game are available through Ticketmaster or the Blue Bombers box office.
