Manitoba First Nations Officer Charged with Impaired Driving

RCMP have arrested and charged a Manitoba First Nations Police Service officer with impaired driving.

Selkirk RCMP received a report of a possible impaired driver leaving a business on Highway 59 on Brokenhead First Nation.

The 32-year-old man was pulled over driving on Highway 4 near Road 320 on Thursday morning.

The man was arrested and charged with impaired driving.

He has released on a promise to appear in court on November 1.

The Independent Investigation Unit and RCMP continue to investigate.
