According to police, a motorcycle travelling northbound on Highway 7 collided with a westbound vehicle crossing the highway. The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The 75-year-old Winnipeg woman driving the other vehicle was unharmed.

Speed is believed to have played a role in the crash.

RCMP continue to investigate.
