Winnipeg Goldeyes general manager Andrew Collier has been named the American Association’s Executive of the Year for 2024.
This marks Collier’s seventh time receiving the honour, having previously won it in 2014 and multiple times in the Northern League.
Collier, who has been with the Goldeyes for 31 seasons, first joined the team in 1994 and has served as general manager since 2001. He was inducted into the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018 as a Builder.
“Andrew knows that you are only as good as the staff that surrounds you, and he surrounds himself with the best,” said Goldeyes president and CEO Sam Katz.
Under Collier’s leadership, the Goldeyes had a successful season off the field, drawing an average of 3,714 fans and unveiling new stadium features like a high-definition video board and two hospitality spaces.
The Goldeyes currently trail the Kane County Cougars in the Miles Wolff Cup Final, with game three set for Tuesday at Blue Cross Park.
Our very own @GoldeyesGM is the 2024 American Association Executive of the Year.
