Manitoba RCMP have recovered several stolen vehicles after a tip on Keeseekoowenin First Nation.

Police with the Hamiota detachment were alerted on September 10 that a 2024 Polaris side-by-side, reported stolen from a cottage out at Sandy Lake, may be at a residence located in the community.

Officers executed a search warrant at the property, where they recovered the stolen side-by-side with trailer.

Police were then led to another home nearby, where stolen property was observed outside. A search turned up four golf carts, two snowmobiles, two off-road vehicles, one trailer and six firearms.

A 25-year-old man from the community was arrested at the second scene and later released for a court appearance scheduled for December 17, 2024, in Minnedosa.

RCMP continue to investigate.
