The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have re-signed quarterback Chris Streveler to a one-year deal, bringing him back for his fourth season with the team.
Streveler, 29, played 13 games for the Bombers in 2024 before a knee injury sidelined him during the Banjo Bowl. He made one start in place of Zach Collaros, leading Winnipeg to a 25-16 win over Ottawa. He finished the season with 343 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception while also rushing for 272 yards and a team-high 10 touchdowns.
Streveler originally joined the Blue Bombers in 2018 and made history as the first CFL quarterback to start a season opener straight out of college since 1994. He played a key role in Winnipeg’s 2019 Grey Cup run, setting a team record for rushing yards by a quarterback with 726 that season.
