Canadian hip-hop icon k-os will take centre court as the halftime performer for the 2025 CEBL Championship Final on August 24 at Winnipeg’s Canada Life Centre.
The event, broadcast live on TSN, caps off the Canadian Elite Basketball League’s Championship Weekend (CW25).
Best known for his Juno-winning hits like “Crabbuckit” and his Grammy-nominated collaboration with The Chemical Brothers, k-os is set to release a new album executive-produced by Drake later this year.
Local talent will also shine earlier in the weekend. Winnipeg’s Boogey The Beat and The Lytics will perform during the Eastern and Western Conference Final halftimes, respectively, on Friday, August 22. The CW25 host team, the Winnipeg Sea Bears, will play in the Western Final.
The performances are a partnership between the CEBL, Winnipeg Sea Bears, and all levels of government.
