Can a windmill blow itself away? Carman RCMP are hoping someone will turn up with information after a 25-foot silver windmill was stolen from a property in the RM of Grey earlier this month.
The towering structure, with 6-foot blades, was reported missing on July 7, but investigators believe it was taken sometime between July 4 and 6. Due to its size, police suspect the theft couldn’t have gone unnoticed.
RCMP are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity — or has information that could help the case gain momentum — to contact the Carman detachment at (204) 745-6760 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
