A 34-year-old Winnipeg woman has died following a collision at the intersection of Highways 326 and 329 in the RM of Bifrost on Sunday.
Gimli RCMP say the woman was driving a sedan westbound on Highway 329 when it entered the intersection and was struck by a southbound pickup truck just before 5 p.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pickup’s 58-year-old driver from Arborg was treated on scene, while his 53-year-old female passenger sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
RCMP and a forensic collision reconstructionist are investigating.
