
Winnipeg police have arrested a 31-year-old man accused of more than 20 thefts, two armed robberies, and a garage break-in between May and July 2025.
Investigators say the stolen goods, worth over $27,000, were taken from retail stores, gas stations, and a home across the city. Two incidents allegedly involved the suspect threatening staff with a knife.
Ryan Alexander McDonald faces 28 charges, including robbery, break and enter, theft under $5,000, and multiple probation breaches.
McDonald remains in custody.
