A 27-year-old man from the RM of Hanover was killed after being hit by a vehicle Saturday morning, on Provincial Road 311 in the RM of Ste. Anne.
Steinbach RCMP say they were called around 6:15 a.m. about a man walking in traffic. Before officers arrived, he was struck by a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 61-year-old man from Steinbach, remained at the site. No other injuries were reported.
Police and collision investigators are continuing to investigate.
