STARS, in partnership with Bunge, has released its 2026 fundraising calendar, marking the 34th year of the initiative.

The calendar, a long-standing tradition, raises vital funds to support STARS’ mission of providing critical emergency care across Western Canada.

This year’s edition features stories from three very important patients, five crew members (including Orion the therapy dog), three helicopters, and a tribute to the late Dr. Gregory Powell, STARS’ founder who passed away in April 2025.

Bunge, which has contributed more than $2.9 million in sponsorship and support, covered the full printing costs as the presenting sponsor.

“The STARS calendar is a reflection of our mission in motion. Behind every image is a patient, a crew member, a moment that mattered,” said Dr. John Froh, CEO of STARS. “We’re grateful for Bunge’s continued partnership and generous sponsorship, which has made this annual tradition possible.”

The 2026 calendar is available for purchase at starscalendar.ca and at Bunge grain elevator locations, with all proceeds going directly to support STARS. Buyers can also enter the annual contest for a chance to win prizes.
