A 29-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a 30-year-old man in Portage la Prairie early Saturday morning.
Manitoba RCMP say they were called at around 5 a.m. on October 25 after the injured man was dropped off at the local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Investigators determined that a woman had driven the victim to the hospital before leaving. Officers later found the vehicle outside a home on 5th Street SE and arrested the suspect without incident.
She has been charged with manslaughter and will appear in court at a later date. Her name wasn’t released.
RCMP continue to investigate.
