Four people were arrested and a large quantity of drugs and a firearm were seized during a police raid in Winnipeg’s Osborne area on Wednesday.
Police executed search warrants at a residence on Roslyn Road and a vehicle as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Police say officers seized a loaded handgun, ammunition, cash, and significant quantities of suspected heroin, cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine with a combined estimated street value of more than $500,000.
A 37-year-old man faces numerous charges, including multiple firearm offences and several counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, along with outstanding warrants. A 36-year-old woman is also charged with multiple drug trafficking-related offences. Both remain in custody.
Two other individuals were later released without charges.
The investigation began earlier in March and remains ongoing.
