A Winnipeg man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a shooting on Bannerman Avenue that left one man dead and another injured.

Police responded to a gun call in the 600 block of Bannerman Avenue just before 10 p.m. on Monday. Officers located two men who had been shot — a 21-year-old and a 23-year-old — and provided emergency medical care before both were transported to hospital in critical condition.
