A 14-year-old Manitoba girl reported missing from the Lake Francis area has been found deceased.
Stonewall RCMP confirmed the update Saturday after originally reporting Shay Redhead missing on Thursday.
Redhead was last seen at approximately 3:30 p.m. that day in a field near her family’s horses on Government Road in Lake Francis. She was reported missing that evening after family members returned home and could not find her.
Stonewall RCMP, with assistance from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, continue to investigate the circumstances of her death. No further details have been released.
