Three people are facing charges following a months-long Winnipeg police investigation into suspected drug trafficking that resulted in the seizure of drugs, cash, luxury items and high-end clothing.
Officers investigated reports of residential drug trafficking between September 2025 and May 2026. Police say the investigation led to the seizure of more than $10,000 worth of drugs, approximately $250,000 in cash, and about $146,000 worth of jewellery and designer clothing.
On May 12, officers executed search warrants at residences in Winnipeg, West St. Paul and Portage la Prairie.
At a home on North Haven Way in West St. Paul, police seized approximately $200,000 in cash, luxury jewellery and clothing valued at about $100,000, along with packaging materials. A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
A short time later, a 28-year-old woman was arrested during a traffic stop in the same area and charged with possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
Police also stopped a 26-year-old man riding a scooter after he left a residence on Mount Auburn Bay in Winnipeg. Officers allegedly found 144 grams of cocaine, 149 grams of cannabis, two scales and cash. He faces charges including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
All three accused were released pending future court appearances.
Police said searches at the Winnipeg and Portage la Prairie residences didn’t result in any additional evidence being seized.
