A 70-year-old woman is dead following a collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle on Highway 44 in the RM of St. Clements last Sunday.

Selkirk RCMP responded to the crash at approximately 8:30 p.m. on May 31 at the intersection of Highway 44 and Provincial Road 212. Police say the motorcycle was travelling east on Highway 44 when it was struck by a vehicle crossing the highway northbound on PR 212.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 19-year-old woman from Portage la Prairie, was taken to hospital as a precaution and didn’t appear to be injured.
