A 21-year-old man from the RM of St. Andrews has been arrested after a string of indecent exposure incidents reported to Selkirk RCMP this week.

Police first received a report on June 15 of a man driving a white vehicle who had exposed himself to a woman walking on River Road in the RM of St. Andrews the previous night at around 9:30 p.m. The man had stopped his vehicle in front of her.

The following day, at 4:43 p.m., the same woman spotted the same man and vehicle parked in a church parking lot in the RM of St. Andrews. She was able to provide police with a description of the suspect, his vehicle and his licence plate number.

Later that evening, at 8:24 p.m., a different woman reported a similar incident involving the same vehicle at a car wash in Selkirk. The man was seen leaving a wash bay before returning to park next to the complainant, where he exposed himself several times while watching her wash her car.

Police tracked down the suspect and arrested him on Thursday. He has been charged with two counts of an indecent act and released with conditions to appear in Selkirk court on August 7.
