Manitoba’s First Walk-In Clinic for Addictions Treatment Opens

The first of five clinics to help Manitobans suffering from addictions has opened in Winnipeg.

The Rapid Access to Addictions Medicine (RAAM) clinic is now open at Winnipeg’s Crisis Response Centre at 817 Bannatyne Avenue.

Winnipeg Police CrestThe driver of a stolen car took police on a wild run Tuesday morning once officers tried to pull the vehicle over.

Police noticed the vehicle in the area of Chalmers Avenue and Watt Street at around 1:40 a.m. and tried to initiate a traffic stop. That’s when the driver drove over a boulevard and fled from police.

Selkirk Man Dies Following Rollover on Highway 59

RCMP Logo VehicleOne person has died following a crash on June 29 which sent a pickup truck into a water-filled ditch on Highway 59.

The vehicle was travelling southbound at around 5:40 p.m. when it lost control and landed upside down in the west ditch approximately one kilometre north of Scanterbury, Manitoba.
