Downtown Winnipeg is getting a new signature street festival this fall that will take over the Graham Avenue pedestrian zone.
The Weekender will run from September 11-13 and is being produced by the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ, Smith Events and Arch Events.
The free, family-friendly event builds on the legacy of ManyFest, which previously ran on Broadway and Memorial Boulevard until 2022.
“This next chapter reflects the ongoing transformation of our downtown into a vibrant urban neighbourhood where more people are choosing to live, work, invest and spend time in,” said Downtown Winnipeg BIZ CEO Kate Fenske.
The three-day celebration will feature food trucks, live music, licensed areas with local beer and beverage options, plus an artisan market, family & adventure zones, and a 3×3 basketball tournament.
