A 36-year-old woman from Peguis First Nation has died following a single-vehicle collision on Highway 17 in the RM of Armstrong Tuesday morning.

Gimli RCMP responded to the crash, located five kilometres north of Narcisse, at 6:11 a.m. Police say the vehicle was travelling north on Highway 17 when it veered into the west ditch, crossed over to the east ditch, hit an approach and rolled.

The front passenger was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Manitoba RCMP continue to investigate.
