Blue Bombers Extend DB Anthony Gaitor Through 2020

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have extended the contract of defensive back Anthony Gaitor through the 2020 season.

Gaitor spent the 2018 season with Winnipeg after signing as a free agent from the B.C. Lions. He recorded two interceptions, two defensive touchdowns, two sacks and 27 defensive tackles in ten games.

Blue Bombers Re-Sign Defensive End Jackson Jeffcoat

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers re-signed defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat to a two-year extension on Monday.

Jeffcoat spent the past two seasons in Winnipeg after signing as a free agent prior to the 2017 season. Last season, the Texas native recorded five sacks, two forced fumbles and 21 defensive tackles in just 12 regular season games, missing the other eight due to injury.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have parted ways with linebacker Ian Wild.

Wild has spent the past six seasons with Winnipeg, playing in 67 career games and recording 245 defensive tackles, 60 special teams tackles, eight sacks, one interception and eight forced fumbles.

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers re-signed offensive lineman Stanley Bryant to a one-year contract extension Thursday.

Bryant was named the CFL’s top lineman for a second straight season in November.

The New Brunswick native recorded 92 defensive tackles, 13 sacks, three forced fumbles and one interception in 119 games played (25 starts).
