Former Winnipeg Blue Bomber Troy Westwood is joining the QX104 Waking Crew to co-host with Caroline Hunter.
Westwood has been helping out on a short term basis by hosting the show, a position that has been vacant since veteran broadcaster Ron Able passed away last month.
“I’ve always enjoyed my time co-hosting for fun with the QX104 Waking Crew. It’s always seemed like the best job in the world and I’m thrilled to be able to get a little taste of it,” Westwood said.
The QX104 Waking Crew show airs weekdays from 5:30 – 10 a.m. Troy Westwood’s first day on the air will be Monday, March 23.
