As part of this year’s Doors Open event, a replica of Winnipeg’s last remaining streetcar from 1909 was on display. Streetcar 356 was re-created in a life-sized model for the 1919 Winnipeg General Strike. On Sunday, those interested had the opportunity to see it in front of City Hall.
The original streetcar is currently awaiting restoration in the Winnipeg Railway Museum.
