Overnight Parking Ban in Effect to Clear Drifting Snow

January 25, 2010 12:30 PM CDT | News

Think twice about where you park your car tonight. The city has issued an overnight parking ban from midnight to 6 a.m.

That means you can’t park on Priority 1 and 2 streets, which includes regional streets, bus routes, and collector streets.

The ban will be in place until plowing can be completed.

Plows will also clear a single lane on residential streets where heavy drifting has occurred.

Back lanes will be plowed beginning Tuesday at 7 a.m.

Plowing of main routes and sidewalks is already underway.
