Ten high school teams from across the province are set to battle it out in the “Ultimate Mix Challenge” on Saturday, May 1. The task is to create the best original non-alcoholic concoctions for the judges.

The teams must also create the best road safety slogan, as the event is put on by CAA Manitoba.

Participating schools include Balmoral Hall, Ecole Communautaire Saint-Georges, Elton Collegiate, Gillam School (two teams), Grant Park High School, Green Valley School, Lord Selkirk Regional, Ndinawe Youth Resource Centre (R.B. Russell), and Reston Collegiate.

The public is invited to watch the action on Saturday on the main floor outside The Bay at Polo Park Shopping Centre.

The mixing will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Winners will be announced at 3 p.m.
